Getting Ready for UDIs and Traceability

We’re delighted to be sharing the next two days here at UDIs & Traceability Brussels 2017 with some of the leading thinkers from across the industry. The IQPC team has assembled a broad church of specialists who will be sharing their knowledge and experience in both the design and implementation of UDI compliant solutions. Not only this, we will also be receiving regulatory guidance from the FDA with an update on UDI adoption and latest developments with the GUDID.

We’re particularly looking forward to gaining insight from the medical device industry as to how they have embraced UDI as a business transformation opportunity and not purely a compliance overhead. It’s an opportunity to drive best practice across the whole of the labelling and artwork lifecycle, including capturing labelling content upstream as well as downstream print.

We’re also looking forward to hearing how the industry is aligning the nuances of both the US and EU implementations of UDI from EHIBCC, GS1 and the GMDN agency and the opportunity there for implementing a single solution that satisfies both FDA and EU UDI regulations.

Like others, we’ll be keen to keen to hear of lessons learnt by the industry in achieving Class II compliance last September plus preparations in place for Class I which is now just 18 months away. Given the location of this event, we’re also expecting to learn of industry initiatives underway in preparation for the forthcoming EU Medical Device Regulations..

Finally, Kallik is delighted to be presenting and exhibiting at this event. Neil Gelghorn, Kallik’s founder and CEO will be speaking at 14:15 on Day 1 and we will be on hand to provide deeper insight into our solutions throughout the event. If you’re attending, we’d be delighted to meet with you. Come over and see us at Stand 2 in the Exhibition Suite. If you’re not able to attend and you’d like to learn more about our labelling and artwork solutions, please visit or get in touch with us via our Contact Page on our website.

We wish you a safe and pleasant stay and an enjoyable and informative conference!
