KALLIK unveils semi-automated content plug-in
Kallik, one of the leading providers of Artwork Management Solutions, announced today that it has launched a semi-automated content management plug-in with comprehensive content capabilities, into its portfolio of collaborative artwork management solutions.
AMS-360Cascade will provide unprecedented levels of efficiency, quality and control to the content management processes involved in producing artwork. As well as reducing possible errors, the solution will limit the number of ‘touches’ to text and reduce the number of documents associated with producing printed materials, dramatically reducing turnaround times and cost.
By connecting the image assets available and managing content workflow, AMS-360Cascade boosts efficiency and maximises productivity.
This is achieved by directly linking image and text fields for artwork content in Adobe® InDesign® files with an XML based text source that can be shared among a range of designs. This tool facilitates the linking of multiple illustration and text sources, including language variations, to a single design, increasing consistency and reducing the error associated with manual changes and updates. The solution also offers significant time saving benefits.
Commenting, Neil Gleghorn, CEO at the company says: “Our customers are under increasing pressure to deliver products to market in as short a time frame as possible whilst at the same time enhancing productivity and reducing errors.
We are constantly benchmarking our solutions against the demands of our customers and believe that AMS-360Cascade will bring unprecedented levels of efficiency and workflow control that will help companies create value and remainn competitive.
As well as dramatically increasing content accuracy and preventing copy and artwork related errors, the time and cost of reworks is reduced which in turn, improves speed-to-market significantly.”
Kallik’s range of software solutions are designed to simplify and accelerate the artwork management process whilst improving brand consistency and reducing risk for the client.
