Earlier this month, Kallik HQ was transformed into a winter wonderland full of festivities as we celebrated Christmas in the office. However, the true essence of the day went beyond our celebrations as we worked together to give back to our community here in Birmingham.
We’re proud to have such an impact on so many people around the world through providing our labeling and artwork management solution for so many major brands across the globe, however at Christmas we also look to support people closer to home.
Helping Hands of Birmingham provides support for those in desperate need who are living on the street. Not just supplying hot food, essential toiletries, and clean clothes, but the Helping Hands team also provides a friendly ear and warm conversation. We are proud to be supporting a charity that aligns so perfectly with Kallik’s values around collaboration and communication and our dedication to our people.
The initiative saw members of the Kallik team generously contributing funds, matched by the company itself, resulting in the assembly of 25 boxes brimming with essentials, including toiletries, sleeping bags, and mats. We also received support from Schumacher Packaging Birmingham, who very kindly donated boxes for the collection of the items.
Clare Whittaker from Helping Hands of Birmingham said, “The amazing donations we received of sleeping bags and mats will go out weekly to those on the streets in need and the Christmas boxes will be going out on Christmas morning.”
Kallik’s ethos extends far beyond our business, with a real commitment to people and fostering a culture of respect and responsibility. We would like to thank Helping Hands of Birmingham for their work in distributing the donations and for allowing us to support them this Christmas.
